We ship our test kits throughout Europe. Shipping to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is at a fixed rate. For other European countries, shipping costs may vary. We would be happy to inform you individually in advance about the applicable shipping costs for your destination country.<\/span><\/p>

The test kits can be delivered to practices, companies, or facilities \u2013 also in larger quantities \u2013 as well as directly to customers or patients at home. The shipping solution will be individually coordinated as part of the collaboration.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

No. In the case of direct cooperation (outside of the affiliate program), the order should not be placed through the regular Verisana website. The test kits offered there are intended for end customers and are not part of individual cooperation models. If customers order through the website themselves, the respective practice or partner will not have access to the results. For the results to be available, the order must be placed through the respective partner.<\/span><\/p>

The shelf life depends on the type of test kit. Saliva and stool tests generally have no fixed expiration date. Blood sample tubes typically have a shelf life of about one year. Swab kits, for example for Candida, are usually valid for one to two years. The exact shelf life is indicated on each test kit.<\/span><\/p>

For our hormone saliva tests, different immunological analysis methods are used depending on the parameter.<\/span><\/p>\n

The vast majority of hormones in saliva are determined using ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). This method is based on an antigen-antibody reaction where an enzyme produces a measurable color reaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Lumi-assay method (luminescence immunoassay) is used for estradiol (E2) and testosterone. This method is also based on an antigen-antibody reaction, but instead of a color reaction, it uses a luminescence signal for measurement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both methods allow for the quantitative determination of hormones in saliva.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Stool diagnostics are based on a combination of microbiological, immunological, and molecular biological methods.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cultural microbiological methods are used to identify bacteria and fungi, in which microorganisms are cultured and differentiated.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the detection of specific pathogens, such as parasites or certain bacteria, molecular biology methods such as PCR (polymerase chain reaction) are used.<\/span><\/p>\n

Immunological test procedures are used to determine inflammatory markers and other functional parameters, for example, ELISA-based methods for markers such as calprotectin, zonulin, or secretory IgA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Microscopic examinations can also be performed, for example, to detect parasites or worm eggs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our hair mineral analysis is conducted in collaboration with the specialized laboratory Trace Elements, a certified clinical laboratory.<\/span><\/p>

ICP-mass spectrometry (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry, ICP-MS) is used to determine minerals, trace elements, and heavy metals. This method allows for the precise measurement of even very low concentrations.<\/span><\/p>

Before analysis, the hair sample is completely digested using temperature-controlled microwave digestion to make the contained elements measurable.<\/span><\/p>

The analysis is performed under controlled cleanroom conditions to prevent contamination. In addition, standardized quality controls are carried out, including with NIST-traceable reference materials and regular control measurements.<\/span><\/p>

These procedures ensure a reproducible and precise determination of the contained elements.<\/span><\/p>
